Mixes // 20,000 Leagues Under the NJC

Ooh, I’ve got a cracker mix for you all! It comes courtesy of NJC, who is playing at Syrup on Friday 26/6 supporting Steve Hill. I’ve had this mix on rotation all week (I know, I should have shared it earlier!) and it’s bloody FANTASTIC! Here’s what NJC had to say about this mix.

“Let me be your captain into the sometimes dark reaches of the deeper styles of techno. This is no day cruise. Come on a voyage to the edges of what deeper techno has to offer. Here there be melody. And if you turn slightly, you’ll hear driving baselines. Never fear though, we’re safely tethered to funky percussion floating on the surface.

Whether your previous outings have been to the deepest depths of house, into the seas of tech house, whether you’ve surfed the waves of trance, or taken in the barren beauty of minimal tech, there’s sure to be something to remind you of home. So grab your snorkle and dive on in to quite a different mix from my usual as we travel twenty thousand leagues under NJC.”

Did I mention I REALLY like this mix? What are you waiting for? GET IT NOW!
